The Loop That Draws Itself

The name is a strange loop. iAmEscher — a self-definition wrapped in an impossible image. Like M.C. Escher's tessellations, where fish become birds become fish again, the music refuses to have a single beginning or end.

Andrew Mitchell Escher is a singer-songwriter and EDM producer whose work lives at the seam between the intimate and the infinite. Each song is a tile in a larger pattern — one that only resolves when you step far enough back to see the whole.

"A Finite Sketchbook" is the debut album: a collection of drawings that somehow escape the page.
