About
The name is a strange loop. iAmEscher — a self-definition wrapped in an impossible image. Like M.C. Escher's tessellations, where fish become birds become fish again, the music refuses to have a single beginning or end.
Andrew Mitchell Escher is a singer-songwriter and producer whose work lives at the seam between the intimate and the infinite. The album cover says it plainly: a cathedral rendered in sacred geometry — arches within arches, the Fibonacci spiral folding into itself at the corners. Not decoration. A diagram.
A Finite Sketchbook is a collection of drawings that somehow escape the page. 35 tracks. The architecture of feeling, rendered in song.
